Steven D. Thorne

Mr. Thorne is a senior consultant with GEI and has over 28 years experience with a wide variety of geotechnical and geo-environmental projects throughout the Northeast. Mr. Thorne has served as lead engineer on numerous deep foundation projects which have included use of standard driven piles, micro-piles and caissons, and is familiar with a variety of static, pseudo-static and dynamic load testing methods. Mr. Thorne also has extensive experience with soft-ground construction, including stability and surcharge design, instrumentation and monitoring/evaluation. Mr. Thorne is also active on the Board of ASFE.
