AGP's latest ceremony was held in conjunction with Geo-Institute's Annual Conference, GeoFrontiers, in Dallas, Texas on March 13th at 7:00 PM Central. The ceremony, which was the Academy's fifth, was the first held in 2011. About 25 Diplomates were in attendance at this event, bringing the total number of Diplomates to over 200!

The Academy held its fourth induction ceremony, the first on the west coast, on August 1, 2010 in Bellevue, Washington. The ceremony was right before the opening reception of Earth Retention 3, a conference held every 20 years. This class of inductees included those who weren't able to attend any of the first three ceremonies, as well as a few new Diplomates. The Academy of Geo-Professional (AGP), held its 3rd induction ceremony on February 21st in West Palm Beach, Florida at the GeoFlorida 2010. If you have at least 8 years (post-licensure) in the geotechnical field, a P.E., and a Masters or equivalent, then you may qualify to become a Diplomate, Geotechnical Engineering (D.GE). To the left is a picture of the Diplomates who were present to receive their certification plaque and pin.

The Academy of Geo-Professional (AGP), held its second induction ceremony on November 2, 2009 in Hershey, PA at the 24th Central Pennsylvania Geotechnical Conference. To the left is a picture of the Diplomates who were present to receive their certification plaque and pin.

The Academy of Geo-Professionals (AGP) kicked off its certification program by holding its inaugural induction ceremony in Orlando, Florida at the Buena Vista Palace Resort on March 18th at the International Foundation Congress & Equipment Expo '09 (IFCEE). Over 30 Diplomates were inducted with the Diplomate, Geotechnical Engineering (D.GE) credential. Another 30 achieved the credential but were unable to attend the ceremony.
